Career Mentoring Program

The Career Mentoring Program is offered by the RTG 2154 and CRC 1261 (Link). It is a program, to support outstanding and highly motivated female master students at an early stage in their career. The program includes a student assistant job accompanied with individual mentoring and consists of:
- Individual coaching: via individual analysis and coaching the student gets to know about her behavioral patterns, needs, talents, and how to best develop her potential.
- Career mentoring and counselling by a female RTG project leader: support via individual sessions, advice regarding studies, career, and personal support options.
- Participation at RTG retreats: getting insight into the RTG-projects and opportunity to network with doctoral researchers and project leaders.
- Participation at a conference: the student accompanies a project leader to a conference, someone who will act as a mentor and will support the student in establishing contacts and networks.

If you are interested in a research assistant job within the Career Mentoring Program:
1. Please check on the RTG website in which RTG-project you would like to work
2. Email the RTG-office grk2154@tf.uni-kiel.de stating (1) which project you are interested in and (2) enclosing your application
3. We will inform you if a research assistant job is available.
Your application should include:
- a letter of motivation
- your Bachelor degree certificate (prerequisite ECTS-grade B or better, and you are enrolled in one of the faculty's Master's degree programs)
- a reference from a professor
