P2b: Thin-film flow-diverter stents in blood vessel models (O. Jansen)

In this project, a fluid dynamic characterization of different flow diverter stent designs in 3D-printed model systems of blood vessels will be carried out using different imaging modalities. Main focus is on development of MR-angiographic programs based on arterial-spin-labeling techniques.

Requirements:

The candidate is expected to have a MSc / Diploma in Physics, (or adequate). The candidate should be able to work independently, accurate and well-organized. Candidates should be highly motivated to perform scientific research, able to work independently in team-oriented projects, good sense for team spirit, responsibility and accuracy, well-organized, flexible, mobile, and able to learn and adopt new methods.
